Raw Food Diet Menu Day 7

I want to make a note that I will be attempting to increase my calories on the raw food diet menu to 2,000 a day. I may not always meet that but it's my target figure after having spoken to Durian Rider on 30bananasaday.

I'm sure he would set that number even higher, but he feels more calories would give me "even more energy and extra passion". I feel great and never go to bed hungry, but him and his girlfriend seem to be bursting at the seams with energy and happiness, so why not see what some more fuel could do for me?

Breakfast

"Breakfast" today was OJ at the cafe by my work. I estimated in the past that 2 OJ's from this place were 32 ounces but I am now going to change that to 48 ounces because I decided to measure what they actually hold when I got home one day. However, how much ice they put in each time would throw the exact amount off.

48 oz OJ

612 calories, 141g carbs, 3g fat, 9g protein

Lunch

I came home from work and did a half hour run. In case I never came out and said this, I always exercise on an empty stomach. I can feel a big difference in my energy levels during my workouts if I have something beforehand. I've experimented with eating an hour or so before my runs but I still notice that some of my energy seems to be diverted to digestion, not to mention the uncomfortable feeling of having something bouncing around in your stomach, even if it is just fruit.

At 4:30 I made a pretty fruit salad.

4 bananas, 2 kiwi, 1 cup strawberries, 2 cup red grapes

786 calories, 194.1g carbs, 3.6g fat, 10.6g protein

Dinner

I enjoyed the other night's salad so much that I decided to make the same one with a slight variation - I added carrots.

6 oz baby greens, 4 oz arugula, 1 cup mushrooms, 1 red pepper, 1 orange pepper, 4 black raw unsalted olives, 1 stalk celery, 2 cucumbers, 3 beefsteak tomatoes, 4 dates, 3 large carrots

696.3 calories, 155.5g carbs, 6.4g fat, 19g protein

Raw Food Diet Menu Day 7 Totals:

2094.3 calories, 490.6g carbs, 13g fat, 38.6g protein

Today was about 5.5% fat and 7% protein
