Free Raw Food Recipes: FillersGuacamole Wraps Ingredients: 2 ripe avocados 1-2 tablespoons lime juice 1/2 medium Roma tomato 1/4 cup minced red onion (optional) 1/4 cup chopped cilantro leaves 1/4 cup chopped basil leaves 1 minced serrano chile (optional) black pepper to taste Method: 1. Combine mashed avocado, chopped tomato, onion, and chile into a bowl and mix. 2. Whisk together lime juice, cilantro, basil, and black pepper, pour over the avocado mixture, and scoop into wraps.
Italian Salsa Wraps3 Roma tomatoes 1 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon organic red wine 1/4 cup minced red onion (optional) 1 garlic clove minced (optional) 1/4 cup unsalted raw olives 3 tablespoons chopped basil leaves 3 tablespoons cilantro leaves black pepper to taste Method: 1. Combine chopped tomatoes, onion, olives into a bowl. 2. Whisk together lemon juice, wine, garlic, basil, cilantro and pepper, pour over top tomato mixture, and scoop into wraps.
Spicy Corn Slaw WrapsIngredients: 2 cups purple cabbage 1/2 cup sweet corn 1/2 cup tomato 1/2 cup cucumber Handful soaked pine nuts 1/4 cup shallot (optional) 1 teaspoon minced jalapeno 2 tablespoons fresh horseradish 2 tablespoons lemon juice 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional) Method: 1. Chop the cabbage and corn off the cob, dice up the tomato, cucumber, shallot, and horseradish and combine in a bowl with pine nuts. 2. Whisk together the lemon juice, olive oil, and jalapeno, drizzle over top of cabbage mixture and scoop into wraps.
Summer Fruit Salsa WrapsIngredients: 1/2 cup mango 1/2 cup strawberries 1/2 cup blackberries 1/2 cup avocado 1 tablespoon mint leaves 1 tablespoon cilantro leaves 1 tablespoon lime juice
Method: 1. Dice up the mango, strawberries, blackberries and avocado, combine with mint, cilantro, and lime and scoop into lettuce wraps.
